ALGORITHM, SOCIAL MEDIA & MUSIC
“Algorithm, Social Media & Music” was a semester long project that took place over the course of my last year at Parsons.
It studied the impact of algorithm & social media on that the music industry, including pop music, songwriting, release & production, and being an independent musician against those circumstances. The overall project totaled at 40 pages and included ethnographic mapping, interviews with several musicians, and a historical analysis on mediums of music in the industry.
